Stainless steel pots?
Hello all, is a fanatic for coffee here. Do stainless steel pots add flavor to coffee? I used the SS empty coffee cup once or twice and found it seems to add flavor to coffee what is inside. The reason that I ask is that I'm going to buy a Bodum French press in stainless steel or glass. Everyone has an opinion? Thank you
When SS you buy coffee, it is recommended that an infusion of waste. This will place a coating on the container to protect the taste SS the next batch. To clean the container, simply rinse with warm water and wipe with a cloth or paper towel. I bought SS Moka pot and instructions provided with it actually tells you to do. It is even more important on aluminum models that affect the taste more than versions SS. Moreover, it protects the aluminum against corrosion. Make an infusion of Waste / death is the only time I'll never use coffee grounds, if I around. From time to time you will have to wash the pot. Just make a batch of new waste to prime the pot after it's clean. It is a bit like the melting pot hardening before use.
