Does civet coffee taste so much better than regular coffee because of its price?
Regular coffee costs about $8 to $20 a pound. Civet coffee cost about $100 a pound or even higher.
Civet is a wild cat mammal. Civet coffee comes from the dropping of a wild cat. The droppings are rinsed and cleaned with remains of berry seeds. The seeds are then roast into coffee beans.
If what you say is true, then that is totally sickening.
Only a snobbish fool would consume anything out of the feces of any animal, especially after paying inflated prices to do so!
