Coffee Beans Roaster

What is the best coffee roaster?
I would like to start buying green coffee beans and roast them myself, but I am not sure which coffee roasters are best. I would like to spend less than around $150.
We use a hot air popcorn popper we got at Goodwill. Do it outside ’cause it stinks! Here is a good article on it.
